Hi friends, today I’m going to share how to root & install TWRP recovery on LG G4. LG recently unveiled the Android 5.1 Lollipop firmware for its flagship. This new update enhances overall performance & patches. This new update is now available on T-Mobile LG G4 and has the software version H81110n. If you are a user of T-Mobile LG G4 then we have good news for you. You can now root the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop and can also install the TWRP on it. If you’ve already installed the Android 5.1 Lollipop and want to root then this guide is for you. This method will first install a custom recovery that will be used to install custom packages like SuperSU. Preparation:-

  • Charge your device up to 70%.
  • Take the full backup of your LG G4.
  • Enable the USB debugging mode on your phone.
  • Use original data cable to create connection between your PC and your phone.

 

Install TWRP on T-Mobile LG G4 Step by Step:

Step 1: First of all, connect your LG G4 with your PC via USB cable.

Step 2: Download the H811-One-Click file and extract the zip file.

Step 3: Now open the extracted folder and run the LG-G4-H811-UNLOCK-TWRP.bat file.

Step 4: Click on it and start the installation.

Step 5: The flashing process will now begin and the device may reboot many times during the process, so don’t disconnect the device.

Step 6: When the process finished then disconnect the device and remove the battery when prompted.

Step 7: Now put the battery back in and Turn on the device.

Step 8: The TWRP has been successfully installed on your LG G4.

Root T-Mobile LG G4 via TWRP Recovery Step by Step:

Step 1. Download the SuperSU package:Link

Step 2. Now extract the files on internal storage of your device.

Step 3. Turn off the device and boot into TWRP recovery by pressing & holding Volume Down + Power buttons at the same time. Once the LG logo appears on the screen, release the power button and press once again.

Step 4. Now, factory reset your LG G4 two times when requested and you’ll be directed to TWRP recovery.

Step 5. Your phone is now in TWRP Recovery, tap install and chose SuperSU zip file from the internal storage of your device.

Step 6. Now, Swipe right to install. when the installation process gets completed then your device will be reboot. That’s it.
Congratulation! Your device has been successfully rooted.
