Sony has introduced a new and concise official service to unlock SONY Bootloader all models easily. This is the only three steps process to receive unlock code. Today we are sharing that easy service with you. Follow this guide step by step to unlock Sony bootloader easily.

If you are going to flash any unsigned custom ROM on your device then you should first have to unlock Sony bootloader. However it’s an unofficial operation and the warranty of your device gets void. Also, Sony and we will not be responsible for any harm. Use this tutorial at your own risk only.

Pre-requisites:

Perform backup for your system/ data on the device first.
Sufficiently charge the Sony device before proceedings.
Install Sony USB driver at your PC. [Download Link].
Enable USB Debugging Mode on your Sony device. [Settings > Developer options][Guide].
Use an original USB data cord for smooth connectivity.
Install Minimal ADB and Fastboot tool on your PC. [Full Guide].

Note: First check your Sony device status, for does it supports to unlock or not.

Dial the code *#*#7378423#*#* to enter into the service menu. > Next tap “Service Menu”. > Tap Configuration. > Now choose “Rooting Status”. > Finally checks Bootloader unlock status. If it says, Allowed or YES. Then continue the steps.

Steps to Unlock Sony bootloader.

Enter your Sony device model name at the end of the page and then click continue.
Next, enter your valid email id and accept the terms and conditions. Then click Submit.
You will receive an email containing a link for the next step.
Click the link and then enter more info of your device like, model number and And then click continues.
You will then receive another email including your unlock key for your device. [xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx].
Save that key entirely on your PC.
Now open Minimal ADB and Fastboot. [Click “Start” > “All Programs” > “Minimal ADB and Fastboot”. > “Minimal ADB and Fastboot”.]
Turn off Sony device and then boot into Fastboot Mode. [Via holding pressed the Volume Up+ Plug-in USB cord to PC] release when logo appears.
Now enter command “adb devices” to check device connectivity.
Then enter command ‘fastboot oem XXXXX’. [Replace XXXXX with original unlock key, that you have received from Sony].
Wait for process completion. Then enter command ‘adb reboot’ to reboot normally.
