If you’re like to root your LG G4 on Android Marshmallow, then you need to unlocked bootloader as well as TWRP installed. If you’ve both of them, then you’re going the right way, however, if you don’t have an unlocked bootloader or TWRP installed, so first do it. Once you unlocked the bootloader as well as TWRP installed then follow the below guide.

Preparation:-

  • Charge your device up to 70%.
  • Take the full backup of your LG G4.
  • Enable the USB debugging mode on your phone.
  • Use original data cable to create the connection between your PC and your phone.
  • Download the kernel file: Link
  • Download the SuperSu file: Link

Steps to Root LG G4 H815 on Android 6.0 Marshmallow:

Step 1: First of all, download the kernel file and SuperSu file for your LG G4 H815 from above links.

Step 2: Now Connect your LG device to PC and move the kernel file to it. Once file moved then disconnect your device and remember the file location.

Step 3: Now boot your phone in TWRP by turning it off and turn it back on by pressing & holding volume down + power button and then leaving the keys once the LG logo appears then you need to install TWRP recovery.

Step 4: Tap on install in TWRP menu and then select the downloaded kernel file and swipe to flash.

Step 5: Once the kernel file flashed then tap on Install again and choose the SuperSu file.

Step 6: When it’s done, tap on Reboot system button to restart the device.
