1. Open Odin folder and run, double click .exe file at Odin extracted folder, to run.
2. Power off J5 and boot in download mode via press and hold VOL-DOWN+ HOME+ POWER buttons for a couple of seconds and then press VOL-UP on the yellow warning screen.
3. Once J5 is in download mode, connect to PC and you will see added text on the box and ID:COM port color turns blue.
4. Now your device is connected properly, click AP button and locate/ select .tar.md5 firmware file.
5. Make sure that to keep default settings, don’t tick or untick any box, then click Start
