Preparation:
  • Backup your device important data first
  • Do charge your device battery at least 70%
  • Use original USB data cable for seamless connectivity

Steps to install MIUI 7 beta ROM on Xiaomi Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Redmi 2 and other supported devices

Step1: After downloading the ROM.ZIP, Rename the ROM file to ‘update.zip’ on your PC

Step2:  Connect your device to your PC via USB cable, and then transfer ROM ZIP file on the internal storage root folder of your Xiaomi device.

Step3: Now boot your device into recovery mode, to do so

  • [Open the Updater app on the main app drawer of device, and tap on 3-dots button located at the top corner and then and select ‘Reboot to Recovery mode].
  • Or turn off your device and then hold Volume up and Power buttons at the same time to enter Recovery mode.

Step4: In Recovery mode, choose the language, then select ‘Install update.zip to System One’ and confirm, your device will then begin updating automatically. Wait until completion,

Step5:  Now choose ‘Reboot to System One’, and on the main recovery menu, then your device should boot to the new version.

That’s it, now your device gets boot into new updated MIUI 7 ROM,
